My first day of summer has been quite lazy! I am looking forward to staying up a little later and sleeping in a little bit. I still feel tired at the moment... it has been an exhausting week of nonstop action and moving. Maybe I will have the energy on Monday to start all the things I would like to do this summer.
I will need to start training for a half marathon that I signed up for! I took some time off from running, and now I need to get back into shape! I will make those necessary appointments that I don't get to do as often as I like during the school year- hair, facial, dentist, dermatologist, etc. I hope to make it to lunch with two friends before I leave on a little vaca to visit my sister and her family in St. Louis. I want to reorganize some of my books that I brought home- bins should arrive on Monday! I want to finish and create a couple more units for TPT. I am starting the third out of five Reading Endorsement classes this week. I also have 3 other workshops that I have signed up for. I plan to read CAFE and The 7 Habits of Happy Kids. I need to organize my office. I want to go to the beach. I want to go on more bike rides. I plan to have some fun creating and hanging out with friends. I want to try and take more pics with my DSLR camera. I hope summer does not fly by too fast!
Summer here in Florida is just too hot and humid. I live in summer dresses! My laptop is typically not too far, as I need access to get online and connect with others. Ice cream is definately a must for cooling down in the summer. I hope to make use of that dusty old ice cream maker this time around. YEAH!! 2 months to rest, rejuvenate, and be on my own schedule.
